Mary Charlotte Loeser's Obituary
Mary Charlotte Loeser Beloved wife for over 60 years of Frederick A. Loeser, lost her 30 year battle with diabetes on March 4th, 2011. Mother of Fred Jr. and Mary S.; Grandmother of Dan Loeser and John, William, and Ellen Newton; Great Grandmother to Alec Newton. Mother Superior to sisters Bertha, Laura, Alys, Marjorie, and brothers Bill, David, Jim, Sam, and Alan. Aunt Mary to a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Mary was a native of Salt Lake City and resident of Oakland for 69 years. She was a proud member and former officer of the Women’s Bowling Association and although she never achieved that 300 game, she came close and had three “all spares” and a couple “Dutch 200s”. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Khalid Baig, M.D. and the staff at Washington Hospital for their exceptional care. A memorial service is planned for Saturday March 12th at 1:00 at the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, with a reception to follow at the Live Oak Masonic Lodge, 3903 Broadway, Oakland.
