Margarito Alvarado Trejo's Obituary
Margarito Alavardo Trejo, 98, passed away October 10, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Rancho El Tathi, Hidalgo Mexico. He met and married the love of his life, Margarita Macedo on January 1, 1950. They later settled in Oakland, CA where they raised their family. Margarito held many jobs and retired from Boysen Paint Company and was a member of the Paint Makers Union. He was a hardworking man and a sports enthusiast. All that knew him, knew the love that he had for his Gigantes. After retirement, he devoted his time to his grandkids and many pets. He was very well loved by all, especially by the St. Jarlath School community where he volunteered countless hours as a handy person and was well known for loading up his truck with his grandkids after school with a smile on his face.
Survived by his children: Petra (Guillermo Tenorio), Luz Maria (Al Gargantilla), Marco (Vangie Trejo), and Rebeca.
His loving grandchildren: Guillermo (Amanda Tenorio), Ricardo, Claudia, Jennette (Gerard), Alfred, Daniel, Mario, Marco Jr (Erin), Marisa, Chris, Joey (Lupita), Jessica, Michael and Monica.
His adored great grandchildren: Amira, Priscilla, Andres, Hamlet, Callie, Jimmy, Jorrell, Jaxon, Alma, Amelia, Marco III, Annaliyah, Ariella, Zayne and Natalia.
His siblings: Efigenia, Mario, Concepcion and Julian.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margarita; parents, Aurelia Alvarado, Taurino Trejo; son, Rafael Rogelio and siblings: Vidal, Graciela, Marta and Armando.
He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Visitation will take place at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm. Mass will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 4025 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Oakland. Repass/Reception will be held at Just Dance Ballroom Hall, 2500 Embarcadero, Oakland, immediately following the Mass.
