Margarita Macedo Trejo's Obituary
Margarita Macedo Trejo, 91, of Oakland, Ca. passed away on December 21, 2018. She was born in Santa Ana, Ca. on June 22, 1927 and was raised in La Laja, Jalisco Mexico. She was married to Margarito Alvarado Trejo on January 1, 1950. Margarita worked seasonally for Del Monte Foods Cannery. She had a passion for cooking, sewing, raising and loving her grandchildren and many pets. Upon entering her home, you would always feel welcomed, loved and fed.
She was survived by her children: Petra (Guillermo Tenorio),Luz Maria (Al Gargantilla), Marco (Vangie Trejo), Rebeca (Mark Ramirez).
Her loving grandchildren: Memito (Amanda), Ricky (Chely), Claudia (James), Jennette (Gerard), Alfred, Daniel, Mario, Marco, Jr. (Erin), Marisa, Chris, Joey (Lupita), Jessica, Michael and Monica.
Her adored great grandchildren: Amira, Priscilla, Andres, Hamlet, Callie, Jorrell, Jaxon, Alma, Amelia, Annaliyah, Ariella, and Natalia; brothers and sisters: Raquel Lopez, Elena Topete, Lydia Arias, Roque Macedo, Maria Diaz, Alicia Cazarez, and Victor Manuel Macedo.
Preceded in death by her parents: Lucia and Ramon Macedo, son, Rafael Rogelio Trejo, and siblings: Mercedes Cuevas, Nicascia Ruiz, and Roberto Macedo. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Visitation will take place Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at St. Jarlath Church 2620 Pleasant Street Oakland, Ca. 94602
Rosary will take place Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at St. Jarlath Church 2620 Pleasant Street Oakland, Ca. 94602
Mass will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Jarlath Church 2620 Pleasant Street Oakland, Ca. 94602
