Margaret Louise Walker's Obituary
Margaret Louise Walker, 83 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA. Visitation with family will be at The Chapel of Chimes in Oakland on Friday, January 5, 2024, between 4pm-8pm. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at The Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, California with Pastor Thomas Turner officiating. The repass will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 6261 Leona Drive Oakland, CA 94610 between 2pm- 6pm.
Margaret was born on April 28, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Willa Mae Jackson and John Jackson. She married Robert Curtis Walker on June 6, 1965 in Sioux City, Iowa. Margaret worked for the State of Iowa for forty years before retiring.
Margaret enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters Bella and Nala Walker. She enjoyed exercising daily when she was in good health. She loved watching cowboy television shows.
Margaret is survived by her son Darrell Walker of Oakland, CA; her daughter-in-law Bianca Walker and their children Bella and Nala Walker; her niece Theresa Levy of Denver, Colorado; her nephew Herman (Kimora) White of Denver, Colorado; her nephew David White of Houston, Texas; her cousin Margie Jacobs Gregory of Denver, Colorado.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Robert Curtis Walker; her brother George White; her brother Herman White Sr.; and her parents.
