Margaret Jeanette Louis' Obituary
Passed away peacefully in Oakland, California on August 19, 2016. Born in Oakland, California on August 17, 1931. Beloved widow of Theodore Louis (June 2010); Loving mother of Karen Louis Martell (Mike), Ken Louis (Sonya), Keith Louis (Martha), and Kathy Leong (Rick); Beloved grandmother of Shane Louis, Keenan Louis, Noelle Leong, Hannah Louis, Chad Louis, Sarah Louis, Hope Leong, David Maderios (Daisy), and Maggie Starkey (George); Loving great-grandmother of Zoe Starkey, Stephen Starkey, Kylie Madieros, and Wesley Madieros; also survived by her loving sister, Jeannie Sullivan and brother Joseph Chann Jr., families, close friends, and many “Adopted Kids.”
Margaret worked for the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) for over 57 years with dedicated service.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 PIedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 in the Julia Morgan Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, 2407 Dana Street, Berkeley, CA 94704 on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery will be private.
