Am hoping this is the Lula Reed that worked for the Holmes family in Hillsborough during the late 60’s and early 70’s before we moved to Idaho. I just want to tell you all how much we loved and appreciated her. I and my 3 children remember her with great fondness. Am so sorry we lost touch with her. Sending condolences to her family. My Auntie looking good as ever on this picture. I remember when she came to Houston for a little while. My daughter was staying at my moms house and she would sit outside Aunt Lula door and say Aunt Lula I'm ready for my cereal and to get ready for school. She took care of my baby just like it was her own. She was always so sweet but direct and honest. I can remember taking my Aunt Mable to dialysis and my Aunt Mable was being rude, my Auntie told her you better appreciate Nita for coming way over here to take you to dialysis and sitting with you. From that point on my Aunt Mable would be so nice when I went to pick her. Going to Miss her dearly, she was such a Gem. Love you Auntie, this is good bye, but see you later.
