Lucy Thambyratnam's Obituary
Lucy Thambyratnam , of Piedmont California passed away on April 29, 2021. A visitation will be held on May 14,2021 at 3:00pm Chapel Of The Chimes Oakland, followed by a funeral service also held at Chapel Of The Chimes at 4:00pm on May 14, 2021; officiated by Reverend Don Ashburn.
Lucy was a loving wife, a mother of 3, grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 6. She had a passion for sewing, gardening, knitting and cooking. Lucy had a teaching career for more than 35 years.
Lucy is survived by, Loving Son Bala, Chelvam, Daughter Jessica and son-in-law Kanthan. Grand children Krishan and wife Gaveena,Vino and wife Garthiga, Pradeep and wife Byravy, Naveen and wife Shalome, Prashad and wife Bobi, Kanjana and husband Josh, Shobana and husband Zach, Jeevan.
A private memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in Oakland, California. In lieu of flowers her family asks that donations be made to the organization of your choosing in her name.
