LUANA MOODY FILBERTJULY 2, 1917 – APRIL 18, 2007 Resident of Walnut Creek Luana M. Filbert, 89, passed away April 18, 2007. Loving mother of Peggy Sawyer and son-in-law Casey Sawyer of Concord and Judith Luchter of Hayward. Loving grandmother of Michael Sawyer, Theresa Schreiber, Eric Sawyer, Kimberly Botelho, Justin Luchter and Peter Luchter. Great-grandmother to Zoe and Alana Schreiber and Ross and Tedd Botelho. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Emery J. Filbert and her son, Moody Filbert of Concord. Native of Illinois, moved to Walnut Creek at the age of two. Resided in Walnut Creek and San Leandro. Retired employee of Capwells/Emporium where she worked for over 25 years at the Oakland store. Internment at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland.
