Lorraine Winnifred Tomlinson's Obituary
Lorraine was fiercely independent up until the last month of her life. She joins her husband Harry Tomlinson (D. 01/15/2000).
Lorraine traveled out from Rhode Island with Harry in 1950 to Oakland. There, she helped Harry with his business with his bookkeeping. She helped raise the family and helped in the building of their houses. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, needlepoint, Scotties and reading. She took a great interest in keeping up on all aspects of her life and current events through her radio, newspapers and TV. She will be greatly missed by many, especially her son Kenneth and his wife Barbara and her canine companion, Terry.
A special thanks to the Oakland Fire Dept. and the Alameda Fire Dept. for their assistance at crucial moments through her life.
Instead of donations, she would want people to protect nature.
