Lionel Brown's Obituary
Lionel Brown was born to his mother Mary Lee Brown and father Lee Andrew Brown on 11/15/1951. He was the oldest of 3 sisters, Phyllis Lewis, Myra Westbrook, Teresa Griffin and brother stepbrother, Walter Caster Jr. Also uncles, a aunt, cousins, nieces, a nephew and friends.
As a child, he joined church with his family at Bible Fellowship Baptist Church in Oakland, CA. Lionel liked to play sports, especially baseball. In 1969, he graduated from Castlemont High School. After graduating high school, he worked at various jobs. Which included the following: Brockway Bottle Company, Oakland, CA (1976 – 1980), the Starlight Corp., as Supervising Custodian for Payless Drug Store, at the Rockridge location (1980 – 2002), finally he worked for Longs Drug Store/CVS (2002 – 2013) as a custodian and cashier, at the Rockridge location, until he retired in 2013.
