Lila Marie Alba's Obituary
Lila Marie Alba, a radiant soul whose heart overflowed with compassion, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and quiet strength. Born on May 22, 1979, in South Korea, Lila moved to the U.S. at just 8 months old, beginning a life filled with warmth and connection. She grew up on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, surrounded by natural beauty and the aloha spirit, which shaped the way she lived—with kindness, generosity, and a heart always open to others. In 2009, she made the Bay Area her home, continuing to touch lives with her grace and unwavering love.
She is survived by her loving parents, mother Jin and her father Lew; her brothers Cain, Chad, Cory, and Chris; her fiancé Alvin, who was her partner in love and life; and her beloved four-legged son, Mars Bruno, who brought her endless joy and comfort.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her—through the talk story moments, the belly laughs, and the aloha she gave so freely. Lila’s life was one beautiful lei, strung together with grace, resilience, and deep aloha for her ʻohana and all those lucky enough to cross her path. She was the kind of wahine who always gave more than she took, and her spirit will keep on shining like the sun over the Koʻolau.
