LEWIS A. TAYLOR, 75LEWIS A. TAYLOR of Oakland, CA passed away at 4:10 a.m. on October 4, 2002 at Kaiser Hospital due to natural causes. Services will be at 3:300 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. Mr. Taylor was born in Mexico, MO to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde and Emma Taylor on July 26, 1927. He worked as maintenance professional in Alameda, CO for 33 years and was a faithful and loyal servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was wed to Mrs. Gertrude Taylor, of Oakland, CA for 52 glorious years and was considered as a father to his 6 nieces, Rosesharon, Rosetta, Donnette, Peggy Ann, Tony, and Jimmie Kay. He leaves behind a whole host of nephews, friends and family along with his loving wife, Gertrude, to cherish his memory.
