Leroy Francis Zuehl's Obituary
Leroy Francis Zuehl, the third of ten children, was born to Anna Loeffler and Adolph Zuehl in Zuehl, Texas on November 21, 1923. Four of his siblings have died. They are Adolph Zuehl, Anna Marie Bancroft, Alban Zuehl and Adrian Zuehl. He is survived by his brother, Francis Zuehl, and four sisters, Marcella Eichelberger, Celestine Hoffmann, Geraldine Simon and Madelyn Madeya. He joined the U.S. Navy and married Blessing Brown of Oakland, California in 1944. He lived in Oakland for 71 years. He worked as a Cable Splicer in the East Bay Division of PG&E in Oakland, California. He retired in March of 1983. His wife, Blessing, died in November of 2015. They had no children.
