Born in Taishan, China. Came to the U.S. at the age of 5. Youngest of three children of Chor Ho Chan and Siu Jung Chan. Brother of Nelson Chan and Florence Chan. Uncle to Zachary, Sophie, Jacob, Chloe, Tyler, and Casey. Soulmate and life partner of twenty years to Christine Wong. Spending time with loved ones was Leon’s priority. Whether throwing together an eight-course family meal in an hour or showing up for a 5 am golf outing with friends, he was always kind, dependable and driven by a strong generosity of spirit. Among his greatest passions were raising his three dogs and building a lifetime of love with his wife, Christine.
