Mr. Joseph Leaton Reid's Obituary
Joseph L. Reid, was born July 9, 1941 and passed on January 11, 2016. He was a resident of Hercules, California. He enjoyed doing computer research on a great variety of subjects. He loved talking to people of all ages and backgrounds on various topics. He found it easy to meet people and speak to them on their level of conversation with great ease. He worked for over 40 years at Richmond Chevron Refinery, Stauffer chemical, ICI and Campus Bay. He ended his career in the position of Lieutenant. He was a jack of all trades and frequently shopped and cooked. His favorite hobby was tinkering with electronic gadgets. He and his wife Adrian married for 33 years, enjoyed ballroom and country/western dancing, attending movies and dining out. He spent many hours watching wrestling matches on television. He served four years in the U.S. Navy learning engineering while assigned to the USS Hancock.
