Laura Marie Scotlan's Obituary
Laura Marie Scotlan, an Oakland native, passed away July 13, 2023. Loving sister of Robert (Patricia), Barbara and Joyce. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Christine Scotlan, sisters Priscilla and Cathey and brother John. Laura was a graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary School, Holy Names High School, and Santa Clara University.
A former travel agency owner, Laura managed College Avenue Travel and Fly Oakland Travel for over 20 years. A lover of travel, Laura helped friends, family and business customers see the world. Laura will be remembered for her devout faith, generous spirit, love of family, framily, and friends and courage in the midst of adversity.
Rosary and funeral mass will take place on Friday, July 28 at St. Columba Catholic Church, 6401 San Pablo Avenue, Oakland, California. Rosary at 10:00 am and Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Services available on Zoom.
