Kisao Yamaguchi's Obituary
Kisao “Kissie” Yamaguchi 1925 – 2015
Kisao found herself a home when she moved from Denver, CO to Albany, CA in 1955. She was able to work along side her children while they were in grammar school as their yard teacher. This line of duty only further instilled her strict household rules. She submerged herself in her family and this is where she found the most joys in life. She found pleasure in cooking traditional meals for her family, walking her dogs, and watching the Oakland Athletics, win or lose. Kisao was a private person but those who knew her best would say that she built a strong family bond that is carried on through her children and grandchildren. They still continue family gatherings on Sunday and this is attributed to the values she instilled in her family. Her kind heart will be missed but will be carried on through her kin.
Her husband George predeceased her in 1997. She is survived by her 3 children Glenn (Barbara), Vicki (Gene Chin), Kathy (Wendell Nagakura), her brother Mas Kamada (Hana), grandchildren Jimmy, Kelly, Evan, Annie, Trina, Jodi and great grandchild Jaxson.
