Kazuo Shintani's Obituary
KAZUO SHINTANI passed away in Oakland, CA on January 14, 2003. He was the beloved husband of Haruko Shintani and the loving father of Mark, Corinne (Russell) Ishikawa, and Howard (Leslie) Shintani. He was the dear brother of Ayano Shimada of Monterey Park, Chitose Yamasaki of Los Angeles. He was preceded in death by Aki Yamabe and Harumi Shintani. He was the dear grandfather of Ryan and Sheena Ishikawa and Dana and Andrea Shintani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephew.A native of Watsonville, CA, he was 84 years of age.Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the Buddhist Temple of Alameda, 2325 Pacific Avenue, CA 94501. He will be inurned at the Chapel of the Chimes.
