Katie Quan passed away peacefully on November 20, 2001, at the age of 84, in Oakland. Beloved wife of the late Edward Quan; loving mother of Evelyn Chan of San Francisco, Elaine Stockey of Oakland, Barbara Quan of Piedmont, Verna Quan of Oakland, and the late Stanley Quan of Oakland; dear grandmother of Michael Chan (Elizabeth), Tami Chan Francia (Ruel), Tumara Stockey, Dr. Lloyd Stockey, and Khari Stockey; dear greet-grandmother of Krystal Chan, Alyssa Chan, and Marissa Francia. Numerous relatives survive her.Katie, a lifelong resident of Oakland was a homemaker. She will be remembered for her gentle nature and gracious ways. All who loved her will miss Katie.
