Karen Lee Hoffman's Obituary
Lincoln CA – After a very short battle with Lung Cancer, Karen Lee Hoffman passed away peaceful in her sleep, surrounded by her family, on September 8, 2016 in her home in Lincoln Ca. She was 77 years old.
Karen leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Alvin Hoffman Sr, her daughter Janis and son n law Lenny of Pleasanton, her son Christopher of Stockton, her granddaughter Bridgett of Pleasanton, her granddaughter Jennia of Ladera Ranch, her grandson Domonic of Hayward and 6 great-grandchildren; Brandon (10), Connor (8), Ryan (6), Andrew (5), Lily (2), Mason (9mths).
Born on June 8, 1939 and raised in Alameda Ca, the daughter of Charles and Georgia Page, Karen attended Alameda High School where she met Alvin Hoffman whom she later married and had 3 beautiful children with. They made Hayward their home for over 25 years. Later Karen worked as a cashier clerk for Lucky Stores for 25 years. After retirement, Karen and Al enjoyed traveling, spending time at their homes in Pine Mountain Lake and Maricopa Arizona.
Karen was so loved by everyone who knew her. She was a caring wife, a wonderful and loving grandmother and truly an amazing friend to so many. Karen spent the majority of her life as a grandmother as her grandchildren were her biggest passion throughout her life.
Interment and Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10:00am to 2:00pm and will take place at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave, Oakland Ca.
