Hello Sam and Annette, im very sorry for your lost. I know your mother had to be an amazing woman as she worked with and was best friends with Jody Merriam. I am a best
friend of Jody's, I would like to ask if you can please call me. Thank you in advance. Maria 925-783-0553
Our deepest condolences to your family. Judy was a classmate of our late father, Steve Quock, and our late mother, Joan Quock, also enjoyed their conversations together. Judy was an integral part of the "Lincoln Lunch Bunch." We appreciated her friendship to our parents, and may they all be reunited in heaven together. Comfort and peace be upon you as we all remember the light and love that Judy brought into our lives.

Judy was a generous professional mentor and a devoted friend and support to me and my family, and I miss her dearly. I miss that twinkle in her eye and her mischievous grin whenever she schemed to go “off book” and explore a different way. Recreation was indeed the perfect profession for Judy because she loved, loved, LOVED to play. She was a staunch supporter of the arts and art eduction and was a co-founder of the Oakland Fine Arts Summer School. Judy taught me the ropes and reminded me to keep it fun— I just wish we had one more UNO game together. Sending all my love to her and to her dear family whom she cherished deeply. - Jennifer Koney

Judy was a great recreation professional at a time when community based programming was at its most creative providing access to a variety of experiences for all ages. Judy encouraged her staff to come up with ideas for new activities. Working with her was fun. She’s joined that awesome group of friends and colleagues in Heaven’s playground.
Judy was such a bright spark when she walked into the San Leandro Senior Center to play Mahjong.
We loved to joke and see who would win the most games.
