Obituary for Judith Ann Kohler Persiko
 
Judith Kohler Persiko passed away on August 3, 2019, from complications with pulmonary fibrosis.  She was 74, a resident of Ann Arbor, Michigan from 1972 to 2016.
 
Judith worked at the University of Michigan Hospital for over 25 years.  She was a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Ann Arbor, where she met many friends.  She formed strong bonds with caring neighbors.
 
Judith was a devoted mother and grandmother. She took an interest in everyone she met, and never met a stranger.  She will be remembered for her sweetness of spirit and largeness of heart.
Judith is survived by her sons Mark Christopher Persiko of Louisville, Colorado and Craig Aaron Persiko of San Francisco, California; her grandchildren Serafina Gabrielle Persiko Benjamin and Tobias Gregory Persiko Benjamin; and her brother Isaac Edwyn George, of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, in the United Kingdom.
A memorial service will be held at 1:45 pm Pacific Time, on Sunday, August 18th, 2019, at the Chapel at Pacifica Senior Living in Oakland, California.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judith Persiko’s honor to one of the following charitable causes that she supported:
