Josephine Moncher's Obituary
Josephine Moncher, aged 94 and greatly loved by many, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She leaves behind three children: Gary, Sharon and John Moncher as well as daughters-in-law Yanira and Sharon Moncher and son-in-law Wes Barta. She was much loved by her six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and her faith community of Christian Cathedral and Patten Academy.
Visitation will be held January 20, 2015 at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA between 5-8 P.M. Funeral service will be held January 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Christian Cathedral, 2433 Coolidge Ave., Oakland,
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Patten Academy scholarship fund or Christian Cathedral benevolence fund.
