Joseph “Augie” Nausin, 84, entered into rest on September 22nd 2002 in Concord CA.. Augie is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary, of 62 years. Loving father of Judy Gherlone and her husband Larry Gherlone. Dear Grandfather of Jim & Christine Gherlone and Gina & Tom Lingenfelter. Augie was also the loving great grandfather of Joey & Katie Lingenfelter.Augie was a lifelong residence of Albany, CA. and a valued member of the Fratellanza Club for many years. He was also an owner of “Nausin’s Food Center” with his brother Frank Nausin and was really an “Original 49er’s Fan!!” He also worked at the University of California Rad. Lab.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Augie’s name to the Cycstic Fibrosis Foundation, 1939 Harrison St. Suite 207 Oakland, Ca. 94612Services will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 1145 Gilman St. Berkeley on September 26th at 11:00am. with the burial at St Joseph Cemetery following the service.
