Johnson Lee's Obituary
Johnson Lee, father, grandfather, great-great grandfather, beloved brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025 with his daughters and son-in-law by his side.
Johnson lived long and full life and had a great extended family that spanned four generations. Johnson had an adventurous spirit and loved meeting new people and exploring the islands of Hawaii and beaches of Mexico and taking road trips across the continental US. At the age of 102 he still enjoyed visiting with friends, watching football, backyard bbqs, and spending quiet afternoons observing the many deer, quail, rabbits and other wildlife that inhabited his backyard.
A memorial celebration will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Chapel of the Chimes funeral home in Oakland, CA. His ashes will be placed in a special urn alongside his beloved wife, Eunice, who preceded him in death. A placement service will be announced at a later date.
Johnson leaves behind a host of friends who remember him for his kind and gentle spirit and unwavering devotion to family. All are blessed to have known him. He will be deeply missed.
