John Lestrick's Obituary
John Lestrick was born on March 29, 1943, in Thibodoux, Louisiana to Nelson and Vera Lestrick.
He accepted Christ as his lord and savior at an early age and was baptized.
John was a member of Acts Full Gospel Church. He received his education at Laney College where he received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. John worked in Construction for about 30 years and afterwards went into Business Consulting.
He met a married Gloria Mae Lestrick, who bore him three children, Yvonne, Marlin, and Cynthia.
He departed his life on May 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, Marlin, and grandson, Elijah.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria Lestrick; two daughters, Yvonne, and Cynthia Lestrick; his sister Essie Frank; three grandchildren, Jemar Pilliam, Taleha Kelly, and Latena Kelly; six great – grandchildren, Ikian Brown, Ion Brown, Anthony Copper, Maurice, Rayja, and Rere; nieces, Annie Mapp, and Joyce Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
