Tapia, Joaquin entered into rest July 3,2005 in Sacramento, at the age of 66. Born January 21,1939 a native of San Francisco. A resident of Sacramento for 35 years. Loving father of Charlene Tapia, dear brother of Arturo Tapia, Mineroa Schwartz, Minerva Schwartz, Cito, Gale and Checo Tapia, beloved grandfather of Emiliano Tapia. Joanquin is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Viviana Tapia, his sister Theresa Aligo and his son Royal Sage Tapia. Joaquin 'Jackie' Tapia a friend to many, a favorite uncle to all and a loving brother, father and grandfather left us on July 3, 2005. We will miss your crazy sense of humor and your sassy spirit. You will always be loved. The family invites friends to attend a memorial service on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 1:00P.M. at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento 922-5833. We could never explain howgrateful we are to have had you as a friend.Just knowing you were always there with anencouraging word and an understanding heart.You have given us peace.We know that you counted on us as we counted on you.Our friendship was one of the most valuable giftswe've ever been given.And we wouldn't trade you or our friendshipfor anything.
