Mrs Leno was my neighborhood mom from a very young age until I left California in 2018! She was an amazing woman! Her love and dedication yo youth and our community was unwavering! My heart goes out to Billy,My Birthday Twins Julious and Charles and James.( and families ) My last conversation with her was sitting on her porch reminiscing about our childhood and her telling me how proud she was to watch me grownup and raise for kids and now our grand-babies. I walked home teary eyed and proud to be honored by a woman I considered a Queen! Rest in Paradise! And Thankyou always for having Bactine as a kid. If I fell at home I would run up the hill just for that ( my mom only had burny stuff) ❤️

My mother-in-law, Jessie Leno was a pillar of our community, a leader, confidant and loving soul to our family. She taught me many life lesson on how to be a "boy mom" to our 2 sons and how to shield them from the many obstacles that would eventually cross their paths in life.
