I remember Jerry as a very kind compassionate person with a good sense of humor and a love of fishing and diving.He was a great baker and made
many kinds of Christmas cookies to give to his friends.He also made great pies and if you were lucky he’d gift you some smoked salmon which he caught and smoked himself. I will never forget how he came over and kept my husband Tom company at our house after Tom started hospice.
One day he came over and just sat and watched the fishing channel with him.He was a great guy!

Great guy! Jerry and I worked together for many years at the Chevron refinery in Richmond California. We shared a lot of laughs and he and his wife Liz attended my wife Sharlene and I's wedding in 1997. I spoke with him just a few months before he passed and we were planning to make a fishing trip. Sadly we never got that chance. Our hearts go out to you Liz and to all your loved ones. Rest easy my friend. We will meet again on the other side!

Jerry’s roasted turkeys were the best ever, and Liz and Jerry always filled their home with love and warmth for their guests.
On one visit to their home I had an opportunity to join Jerry on one of his walks.
I didn’t know it was going to be a “power hike”, and that I’d be so “left behind”, and I thought I was a power walker! That’s OK because when I get to heaven I’ll have my perfect body, with my strong new legs and lungs, and I will encourage Jerry to “keep up”. Oh……wait…..Jerry will ALSO have HIS brand new perfect body. Maybe I might be able to just “keep up”.
