With saddened hearts we announce the passing of JEAN ANNETTE WARD (née Young)
Late of Montego Bay, Jamaica and Oakland, California.
Jean-Ann passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, in Oakland, California.
She is pre-deceased by her beloved son Morgan Brandon Ward. She is survived by daughter Lawren (Anwar); grandchildren Annecea (Lakevion), Morgan (Leslie), Zakai, and Amaro; Great-grandchildren Sovannai, Kingston, Yasuki, Miyasia, and Leslie.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Basil Young, Joan Haughton (Stafford), Joy Patel (Tony), Michael Young (Jackie) and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, California.
