Jane Whyte's Obituary
On Friday, November 4, 2011, Jane Elizabeth Whyte, age 95, passed away peacefully at Bethel Retirement Community, Modesto, California, where she resided since 2009. She was born in 1916 in Fulton, Missouri, where she lived until she moved to Alameda, California in 1943 with her husband, William Earl Whyte. He preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Thomas of Tampa, Florida; William of Gainesville, Virginia; and three daughters, Kathryn Gross of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; Regina Courtney of Riverbank, California; and Maria Stark of Hayward, California. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be on Tuesday, November 15, at the Chapel of the Chimes 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, California, at 1:00 p.m.
