James Lee Cane's Obituary
James Lee Cane, 81, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Villa Anntonio in San Jose, California. In his last few days he was surrounded by his friends, family and wife of over 44 years, Lynne L. Cane. Jim was the founder of JC Productions, a business that flourished in the Santa Clara Valley for over 50 years. An avid outdoorsman, he loved boating, hunting, fishing and bike riding in Yosemite Valley. Jim and Lynne vacationed extensively; white water rafting on the Rogue River, on a Canal Boat down the Erie and made several trips down the Mississippi by Riverboat. They also spent time on the beach in Tahiti. Jim was a member of the Elks and a Mason.
Jim was born in Oakland on November 23, 1934, to James Jefferson Cane and Lotta Ellen Smalley, both deceased. He is survived by his wife, Lynne L. Cane, brother Tom Cane and his wife Debbie Cane, and his sister Mary Dubbs. Jim spread his love among the members of his extended family and is also survived by 6 Children; Suzie Anderson and her husband Chuck Anderson, Robb Carter, Jimmy L Cane and his fiancé, Vanessa Nguyen, Bob Cane, and Larry Davis, and Debbie Cane, 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Jim was pre-deceased by his beloved daughter Debbie Wiggin and beloved stepson Terry Davis. The family would like the thank Jerry Dy for his loving care of Jim during his long illness.
A Memorial Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA at 1:00 PM. A reception will be held on site after the service. For more information call Jimmy Cane at 408-314-0860.
