James Ernest Calderwood, Jr.'s Obituary
Jim passed away 8-27 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Vallejo, Ca to Mary and Jim Calderwood, who proceeded him in death. Jim is survived by his loving, best friend, his wife of 30 years Pat Calderwood.His sister Marilyn (Bill) Nootbaar, Niece Mary Templer Great Niece Lisa, Great Nephew Eddie, Niece Karen (Marvin) Henderson, Great Nieces Cassidy, and Kayla. Brother Kenneth (Susie) Calderwood, and Nephew Christoper. In-laws Terry (Glade) Grenke, Nieces, Gayle (David) Wright, and April Moore. Linda (Kieth) Bewley, Nephew, Michael (Shelly) Bewley, Great Niece Sabrina. Niece Sandi (Jake) Howard, Great Nephews, Justin, Cody, and Mike. Niece Jenifer (Scott) Boettcher, Great Niece Olivia Rae. Ellen (Kelly) Wilcox, Nephew Nick and Niece Amanda. He was raised in Concord, Graduated from Mt Diablo High 1964. Jim joined the Army and served proudly in the 101st Airborne – a medic in Vietnam. A painter by trade, worked at Alameda NAS and lived in Alameda the last 18 yrs. Jim loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing from the ocean to the mountains. Memorial Services, Sept. 2nd at 10 am,Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave Oakland, Ca At a latter date services and interment, Veterans Cemetery, in Dixon Ca.
