Jacqueline A Williams' Obituary
Jacqueline Angela (James) Williams was born on August 8th 1948, in Oakland California, from the union of AB James III and Birdy Davis. Jacqueline graduated from Oakland Technical High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Harry James Williams and from this union, one child, Kevin was born. Jacqueline took some college courses which enabled her to work for the County of Alameda as a court reporter. She remained with the county for over 30 years and retired as a Project manager for the court in Oakland. Jacqueline was baptized at Humanity Baptist church in Oakland around 1988. She had a giving heart and a loving spirit and she enjoyed family- type gatherings. Jacqueline had a sincere love of family history and making family connections. Researching the family history became her passion. She would often stay awake all night on the computer gathering information and connecting with other family members that could assist. She met her soulmate, Hayward, in 1983, through a friend and co-worker and he has been an important part of her for 42 years. She will live in the hearts of her son Kevin (Cheryl) and many dear relatives and friends.
