Irving Junious' Obituary
Irving Peter Junious was born January 9, 1922 in Beaumont Texas to Moses Junious and Leontyne (Emma) Jones. He attended elementary, junior, and senior high school in Beaumont and graduated from Charlton-Pollard High School with honors after achieving the top ten-list for his scholastic ability. Irving moved to San Francisco in 1942 where he worked at the Richmond ship yard and Navel Supply during World War II. He met and married his life, long love Isabell Patterson on January 26, 1946 and gained a loving daughter, Francis. During their 65 year marriage he fathered two beautiful daughters, Beverlyn and Yvonne. Irving later went to work for Romak Iron Works where he retired in July 31, 1985. He confessed his belief in Christ at an early age and became a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Oakland, CA and was the President of the Senior Citizen club.Irving went home to rest on August 17, 2011 at 1:30pm. He was preceded in death by his daughter Francis. He leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, Isabell Junious, Oakland, CA; his two daughters Beverlyn Junious and Yvonne Wong of Oakland, CA; his granddaughters Kimberly Russell (Eddie) of San Pablo, CA; Felicia Taylor of Hayward, CA; and Laurie Taylor of San Leandro, CA; and four great-grand children Sasha Noble, Danielle Aldredge, Robert Crayton, and Ramar McDowell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.Irving was a giving person who loved helping others. He was a loyal husband and loving father. Irving was from a family of four children, two boys and two girls. He was the last surviving sibling. He died at 89 years of age.
