I just finished ridneag my Jan 2007 issue of Wired and thought of you guys. It's an issue devoted to The Science of Human Enhancement and there's an article on Dean Karnazes and his 12 secrets to his success. Yeah, it's a tech mag but this issue was devoted to el cuerpo humano.I know it's 1255am but i'm at work and this is what im' doing while waiting for a really late flight, ridneag. still got over an hour to wait, guess i'll watch tv now

I had the privilege of wnikrog with Jere in the forestry side of GP when it existed here in Fort Bragg. I always admired Jere's sense of humor and honest straight forward approach to any challenge placed before him. He taught me things I never knew about the forest lands I grew up in. When I began my law enforcement career began, Jere was right there to support me, and always encouraged me along the way. He showed up to each one of my swearing in ceremonies in his high water Ben Davis pants, usually covered from head to toe with sweat and dust from having just arrived from the woods. He was truly a pillar in the coastal community that anchored Fort Bragg to the very roots that put it on the map. Jere's leadership and calm mannerism in the community will surely be missed. I will miss you Jere, and know that none of us in the law enforcement family here in Mendocino County will rest until justice is served.

Marjorie,Your Mom has been loved by our family since before I was born. She and my Mom were best of friends and her loving spirit will forever be missed. She called often to check on me even when she wasn't feeling well and I always looked forward to her nurturing voice. Your Mom had such a loving soul she'll always be in your heart. A precious one from us has gone, a voice we love is stilled, a place is vacant in your home- which never can be filled; and after a lonely heartache many a silent tear, but always a beautiful memory of one we love so dear.God bless You and your family
