Dear Robby, dear Laura,
with great sadness we have learned of the passing of our dear Aunt Helga. It is difficult to find the right words when someone leaves who has brought so much warmth, kindness, and strength into our lives.
We want to express our deepest condolences to you from the heart. We are thinking of you and how difficult this loss must be for you. Aunt Helga remains unforgettable to us — with her laughter, her loving nature, and all the moments that made her so special.
We wish you much strength, comfort, and people close to you in this difficult time. May the memory of all the beautiful things Helga leaves behind give you a little light.

Life circumstances and distance made it difficult for us to be physically close. But in our hearts and thoughts, our cheerful and bubbly Aunt Helga was always with us.

During her visits to Germany, when our grandmother, Helga, and our mother were together, the evenings were often filled with conversation, laughter, and tears reminiscing about days gone by. As children, we listened with rapt attention to the many anecdotes about theire childhood, theire time in the theater, and theire escape from Guben to Dömitz. Their lives and their relationship with each other weren't always easy, but it made all three of them, each in her own way, incredibly strong women. Now they are reunited in eternity.

Dear Helga, you are and will forever remain in our hearts!
