Helen Christensen's Obituary
Helen Virginia Christensen (January 18, 1918-May 25, 2015) Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on January 18, 1918, Helen was the third daughter of William and Jesse Christensen. She later moved to Delhi, California with her parents and siblings in August 1927. She was a graduate from Merced High School. A World War II veteran, she served as an Army Nurse. After the war she attended Medical School. She then practiced medicine in the East Bay for many years before her retirement. Helen passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Towers in Oakland, California on May 25, 2015. She is survived by her sister Margaret Christensen, of Oakland, California and her brother William Christensen of Merced, California. Funeral arrangements will be private.
