A loving mother, grandmother, auntie and great friend, Helen Lum Chew led a long and wonderful life filled with family and friends before being taken from us just days shy of her 99th Birthday. She enjoyed traveling all over the world, but mostly enjoyed times spent family and friends. She remained active throughout her life and always enjoyed a good meal. She always had kind words and always acknowledged everyone.
Preceded in passing by her loving husband Erwin H Chew in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Ada Choy and Diane Chew.
Survived by son, Sherwin Chew (late wife Linda) Daughter, Christine Baeta (husband Michael), Beloved granddaughter, Angela Labastida (husband Jonathan). Also survived by brothers Guy (wife Mei) and Gordon (wife Nancy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
