Helen Louise Catto-Degnan's Obituary
Helen Louise Catto-Degnan Aug. 18, 1913 – Jan. 12, 2011 Resident of Walnut Creek Helen passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husbands Andrew C Catto (38 years) and Peter Degnan (22 years). She was born and raised in the pacific northwest and subsequently moved to the San Francisco bay area in the 1950’s. She was active in a number of community organizations while living at Rossmoor Walnut Creek. She is survived by her children Dr. Brian Catto (JoEllen) of Augusta, GA and Jane Catto Garcia (Ed) of Concord, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Our special thanks to her care givers Jude Velosco and staff at Castle Crest Homes Walnut Creek for her years of loving care. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 26, 2011 10:00AM at Chapel of the Chimes 4499 Piedmont Ave. Oakland, Ca.
