Harold Krist Gudnason's Obituary
Harold Krist Gudnason II of Oakland California passed from this world and went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2019. He was 82 years old at the time of his passing. Krist was born in Oakland California on June 11, 1937. He attended Oakland high school and graduated from San Lorenzo Valley high school in Felton, CA. He married Carola Page in 1955, who preceded him in 2011. On December 29, 2012 he was married to the lovely Lynn Cadwell.
At a young age Krist went into business with his father, Harold Krist Gudnason I, and grandfather, Krist Gudnason, at Alice of California, a respected San Francisco women’s garment manufacturer. He later opened his own garment company and manufactured under the KRIST label. Krist was a great supporter of the gospel of Jesus Christ serving on the board of directors of both the Mount Hermon Association and Partners International. Krist had a special love for Mount Hermon and all it stands for and to see the gospel spread in the least reached places on earth.
Krist is survived by his wife Lynn and his five children, Debbie, Jon, Kristin, Karen and Harold Krist III and Lynn’s children Casey and Cari.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, August 24 at East Hills Community Church in Oakland.
