Gwenderlon Woodward's Obituary
Gwen Woodward, 70, of Oakland, California passed away November 1st, 2019.
She was born Cincinnati, Ohio on July 9th, 1949. Gwen graduated from Poly High.
She was married to Silas Woodward on March 16th, 1972. Gwen worked in the medical field, as well as being the first black female meat manager at Safeway in Northern, California. Gwederlon had a passion for the outdoors, and loved her children.
She was survived by; Husband Silas Woodward, Daughter Mina Beasley, Son Silas Woodward IV, Grandchildren; Jefferey Simpson Daydriana Lee, Aajani Woodward, Silas Woodward V, Jada Woodward, Naomi Beasley, Andrea Woodward and Elias Woodward.
Memorial Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes November 18th at 2pm in Chimes Chapel.
