Tami Hunter Neal
My friend since second grade. We had reconnected after several years, about 11 months before his transition. It was as if no time had passed. He was one of the funniest, brightest, witty people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. We were thick as thieves as kids, with our backyards right across the fence from each other. He was like my 6th brother (I had five knuckleheads at home). He took me to prom, one of the most memorable events of my life. I miss you, my dear friend. You will always hold a very special, pure place in my heart, and I think of you often. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Perkins, and your entire family. Rest.
