Dear Dye Family,You loved One was very dear that its hard to find the words to ease Your loss. But please know The Bible has the right words and real hope for You and Your loved Ones. Please turn to The Bible Book of John chapter 5: verses 28 & 29 The promise Jehovah God holds out for All Our Dead Love Ones who have fallen asleep in death. Withe deepest Sympathy .Love A Family Friend
Uncle–today is your homegoing celebration of life. Wear your crown dear Grover, wear your crown.
Today is a celebration of the life and legacy of Grover C. Dye, Sr. Let us remember his long life of love and giving. â??What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toilâ??this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.â? Ecclesiastes 3:9-14 Loving you forever, your niece, Delores E. Robinson, Chicago
We're going to miss you Grover. This world needs more people like you. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a few minutes with him nearly every day for months while remodeling his house. The day of Obama's election to the Presidency, we afforded each other an extended conversation (sorry Mamie, not much got done that day) and it became clear to me that this was a man of exceptional wisdom, experience and compassion. To his family and friends I offer my condolences.
My condolences to the Dye family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Grover Dye Sr. at a Dye Family Reunion. I remember a dapper elder with a strong presence. He looked so proud as he took his rightful seat preparing for the family photo, surrounded by generations of family.Elders are a rich source of history. What a blessing Mr. Grover Dye Sr. was to the Dye family and to others lives he touched.Gloria Wright

Dear Mamie, Grover, Judy, David and Ken,Grover was a jewel of a man and will remain forever in my memory and heart. Our friendship spanned 5 decades, and with all of the ups and downs we found a way back to one another with care and respect. He loved you all so deeply and I know that you will celebrate his amazing spirit and the life that he crafted for the rest of your lives. You were so fortunate to have him as a husband and father. I look forward to being with all of you on Tuesday and I have contributed to the SPLC in Groverâ??s honor. With love,Joan Cole
