Life Reflection of Gregory Alexander “Doves” Gregory Alexander Sr. was born in Alameda , CA on Feburary 19, 1951 to the late Mr. Pernell and Veola Alexander (Shields). Gregory was the second eldest of six children. His family moved to Oakland, CA in 1955.Gregory graduated from McClymonds High School in 1970 in Oakland CA. Gregory enjoyed football, baseball and other sports and he always loved jogging in the early mornings, as well as having family events. He also loved being around his brother-in-law, Anthony Cross, Raymond Remo and sister-in-law, Marjorie Remo all from Natichotches, LA. In June 1974, he met his wife Sylvia at his sister Gail Crossley wedding party and fell in love. They dated for 5 years and they married on March 30. 1979. They helped raise Gregory Alexander Jr., and later had 2 children, Crena Nicole Alexander and Brandon Alexander. They made a strong parental commitment centered on dedication, understanding and family unity. Life Reflection of Gregory Alexander: He was a hard worker for 49 years until he retired at the age of 65, from Granny Goose and Kerry Ingredients. He leaves to mourn his wife Sylvia Alexander, three children, Gregory Alexander Jr., father of Gregory Alexander III, great grandson Gregory the IIII, Crena Nicole Alexander mother of Elmer Wes Keyes, Brandon and daughter -in-law Marquita Alexander parents of Asialee Marie, Chyna Alexis, Serenity Milan Alexander. Through another union Brnadon Hancox Alexander, Jr. all from Oakland, CA. He also leaves to mourn siblings, Janie M. Alexander, Gayle Alexander-Crossley (Decease), Angelique Alexander-Dokes, Debra L. and Edward M. Brown, and Michael G. Labat, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his two best friends Leeartis Hayes and Rodney Green and a host of friends.
