Grace L. Watts
July 26, 1931 – Dec. 21, 2013
Resident of RichmondGrace passed away peacefully with her children at her side in early morning on Saturday December 21, 2013. Grace was born in Richmond, Ca. Her parents were Art and Gladys Wescott. After graduating at Richmond High School, she began a career as a University of California Receiving Clerk. She retired after 33 years of service.
Grace was married to Thomas L. Watts on August 26, 1950. They lived in Richmond, Ca. where they raised 4 children, Roselinda, Janice, Edward, and Kenneth. Her favorite activities included knitting, crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Grace was involved in the Michaels Knitting Club and Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed spending time with her special friend Anne Bevilacqua.
Grace is survived by her loving children; Roselinda DeLaBriandais, Janice Parsons; her 7 grandchildren, Shane Gonsalves, Lance Atwood, Shannon Gonsalves, Laura Atwood-Brown, Kimberly DeLaBriandais, Nicholas DeLaBriandais, Trisha Shin; her 9 great grandchildren, Kyle Atwood-Smith, Tyler, Emily, John, Leah, Julian, Jonathan, Taylor, Jasmine; and her great great grandchild, Kaitlyn Rose Babb. She will hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.
