Goldie Jordan Goldie Jordan June 30, 1921 – Mar. 19, 2011 Goldie entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2011 at home with family and close friends at her side. Goldie was born in Utah on June 30, 1921. She moved to the San Francisco area in 1936 and lived there for over 60 years. Goldie relocated to Boise in 2004 to live closer to her daughter. Goldie was universally loved and admired for her kindness, generosity, patience, enthusiasm for life and boundless energy. She worked for over 30 years at Blue Cross of California in Oakland. She leaves behind many friends there. She is survived by her two daughters and their families, Vangee & Dan Guettinger of Livingston, CA and Aline & Jerry Gonzales Reiff of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren – Zack, Molly & Katie Guettinger and Lisa Gonzales and three great grandchildren, Alex, Riley and Devin Guettinger. Goldie was preceded in death by and three brothers; Gus, Mike and Frank and leaves behind her sister Ardelle Pagonis and her many beloved nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by her family, extended family, neighbors on St John’s Dr, San Lorenzo and numerous friends who she positively influenced & inspired in her extraordinary life. Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 31st at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave, Oakland.
