Gerald "GT" Thompson's Obituary
Gerald Leonard Thompson, 64, of Milpitas, California, passed away on August 7, 2019. He was born in Berkeley, California on April 18, 1955 to Ollie Smith and Fred Glenn Thompson.
He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Richmond, California and attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and The University of Phoenix.
He was with his Significant Other, Stephanie Simmons, for 32 years.
Gerald was a technician at AT&T for 10 years and then worked predominantly as a salesman in the Automotive Industry for the last 24. He had a passion for music, cooking, Disneyland, and always being there for his children and grandchildren.
He was survived by his partner Stephanie Simmons, his children Daniel Courter Simmons (Jason Cianciotto), Julie Goetz (Ben Eufemi), and Glenn Thompson (Laura
Nicole Romero), his grandchildren Allyson Goetz, Derrik Simmons, and Gregory Thompson, his
brother Lynn Smith (Malinda Smith), his close cousins Clarice and Alyce Nash, Charlotte Jackson, Regina
Milton and Rodney Anderson, and his many
other cousins, nieces, family
and friends.
