Georgia Alexander's Obituary
Georgia Alexander was born March 8, 1956 in Hanford, CA. She lived in the Fresno area until she was 17 and later moved to Oakland, CA where she attended McClymonds High School. She was a counselor at a women’s shelter in Berkeley as well as a nurse at various Bay Area hospitals for over 20 years.
In her free time, Georgia enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved helping people and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. Family was most important to her and she was always available to listen and give advice.
Georgia is survived by her husband Anthony and her daughter Sharlene. She also leaves behind her honorary daughters Jovita, Alexis, and Roshanda, and their children Steven, Da’Yani, Jai, Naijaila, Amani, Amir, Alejah, Laraine, and Aiden, as well as a host of other family and friends.
