Gene Eng Choy's Obituary
Gene Eng Choy, 96, was a life-long California Bay Area resident including San Leandro and San Jose. He was a graduate of Washington High School, and served as a corporal in the United States Army in the Panama Canal Zone. He retired from Owens-Illinois and Temescal Berkeley after 32 years as a glass and mechanical draftsman. Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Rosaline Choy, and cherished father to Karen and Michael. Son of the late Yan Lim and Git Ping Choy. Grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Funeral service on Friday, May 20th at 11:30 am at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA. Interment at Mt. View Cemetery.
